Production & Relaxation
Each and every day the two things listed in the title of this entry push and pull me all over the map. When combined with one of my biggest enemies in impatience, I often find myself in chaos. Let me explain.
Production can be both work and leisure related. The goal is to get everything done that I want in a day without wasting much time. Why waste time when you have shit to do? Yeah, yeah, everyone knows that one Trent!!
Anyways, my impatience drives me nuts when trying to be productive and I hit a road block. Maybe my supplier has stalled or maybe my heater isn’t working in my gym, it doesn’t matter because my stress and frustration rises!
Impatience kicks my ass with my relaxation time as well. Just mellow out dude and relax when on days off! Yeah, yeah, everyone knows that one Trent!!
Not me my friends. I couldn’t relax if my life depended on it when my impatience kicks in. Maybe my friends were supposed to show up at 7pm for drinks and it is 9pm now and they still aren’t here. Maybe we are going to the city for a date, but we have to return that gift for our neighbour because who knows when they are getting to the city next!
I tell you what. The day I figure out how to relax will be the day I retire and then 3 days later I will want to go back to work because I will be bored! Isn’t life perplexing when we look at ourselves in different shades of light?
No!!well mine sure as hell is!!
