I registered www.onlinelessonplans.com and hope to have it up and going before the end of school to have others test it. Then I will pilot it for the summer and hopefully try to sell it during the upcoming school year!

Mad Cow Hits Canada

At 11:00am, mountain time, there will be a news report stating there is a confirmed case of Mad Cow in Northern Alberta. The US markets have already figured it out and are already trading limit down on all months for fat and feeder cattle.
Dad was smart enough to sell futures on a deferred month to cover our cattle in inventory. The only reason this was possible was because he was told right away what was happening and traders always limit down the close months before the deferred. We are in a solid position regardless if the markets fall apart.
The dollar is on the rise to $74.50 today which is amazing because it was trading at $63.00 only a month and a bit ago. That will also make our cattle trade less because the market is based in US dollars.
This will fucking kill many players in the industry because no one was on the dollar trend until it was too late and now the US market is falling apart.
Good thing my father is smart. Even if I don’t always give him the credit he deserves!!

Tomorrow, May 10th, represents the 1 year anniversary of my own personal “blogging’ site! I have had a couple of bullshit personal sites in the past, but they were not CMS driven sites, but rather static coding.
It seems like yesterday that I starting writing in this online journal. It is really amazing! I have been waiting for my 1 year anniversary of this site to try out my “On This Day’ plugin! It will work great, as I post almost every single day regardless of whether or not it is interesting!
