Cold Weather Strikes Again!

I just had another battle with the bathroom freezing up. After re-plumbing the toilet in the men’s room to use water from the sink I was able to go 2 days with no problems.
Tonight the sinks cut out! Too fucking cold under the building I guess! I ran a space heater down 2 feet from the pipes and within 5 minutes I had water again!
The only problem is having the heater down there means no tanning. The only other solution is rig the power to work under the building again or warmer weather. I guess I will wait and see what mother nature has in store first!!
Another Nickelback Show!

Just when I thought there was no hope (except for the $100 profit selling my last tickets), Nickelback announces the same show in May with tickets going on sale this weekend. I will recruit several people online to make sure I get those tickets!

Too Cold - No Nickelback

Today is a really fucking cold day and one might even make the argument that it is much colder than even yesterday. I checked under the building and the industrial heater is working fine and we have some heat in the building.
With the weather being so cold, I am selling the Nickelback tickets because we can’t risk getting stranded on the side of the road with Tammy being pregnant. It is and will continue to be a heartbreaking decision, but what can we do?
That being said, I still have to fix the toilet, so I am having Calvin come over and help out!
Baby Journal Up And Going

I have completed the baby journal and now am just getting ready to post information to it. It currently has a couple of really stupid items, but more to have some content to test the site and get it working right. I “borrowed’ a design from Miz Graphics and am utilizing it as a skin on the site.

Personal Training - Fitness Leadership Course

This weekend was the Fitness Leadership course in Edmonton, the first of 2 courses that I must complete for my personal training designation. Next weekend will be the specialty course with Resistance Training.
It was wicked! We learned about 3-4 months of course in 1 weekend with 16 hours! We didn’t cover everything that would be in a normal course, but concentrated on what would be on the exam. We even got a cheat sheet.
I am now also registered to take the CPR with the Czar Fire Department on Feb 2nd & 4th and Feb 9th & 11th. That will be the last course that I must take for my Personal training. If all goes well, I will have the exams for the other 2 courses finished before starting CPR.

Moving Towards Training Certification

Travis Manning and I are heading to Edmonton this weekend to take the first of 2 courses needed to achieve our fitness trainer certification. It is going to be great. It is Saturday and Sunday for 8 hours each day. Should be a great time and a great learning experience. More on this after the conference.
