Big Changes To This Site!

I have been working to get a site that my friends and family could use that would allow them to interact and allow ourselves to keep in constant communication with others! This has always been the goal of this site and I will continue to work on this!

The biggest change has been that all registrations will now be done at the forum versus having to register for all different places on the site! Once you are registered in the forum, you will be automatically registered for the gallery to start posting your photos and at the blog so that you can start posting journal entries about what is going on in your life or about anything that you want to talk about. Differing from the forum, your posts on the blog will be seen by the entire public internet, so be advised that if you want something kept secret to post, place it in the forum!

As for the gallery, you have told me to keep photos private from the public and only for the registered users and I have done just that. Your photos will only be seen by registered users and all users must be authenticated by me when they register in the forum. It is perfectly safe and I hope you all will start using it!

As well, let us not forget the forum, the cornerstone of this site! The place that you can post things that you want to talk about, have discussions with others (without public viewing, just members), find out about important changes to this site, trade your possessions, amungst other things! It is a great system!

After speaking with some members of the family, I will also be implementing a family history section of the site that will allow us to all place our information on our families and change them on a regular basis. We can also add information about our parents, grandparents, and so on up the family tree. In essence, that is what it will be! Look back to find out when I implement this one (big project and might take some time!).
