Just Want To Blog!

I have to say that having my personal journal under a bit of contruction is going to be a great thing, but not having the ability to blog something right now when I want to is not a great thing! Sometimes you just want to write something and now is that time! I will try and make it worth your while!

Obviously, members can blog on our community blog (what I am writing on now), but if you feel that maybe you would like your own blog, you have many options. What I would recommend is the following options:

1) Signup for a blog on www.wordpress.com and starting blogging. It is free and hosted with them! In fact, it is a version of the software that is running the blogging portion of this website! Just I run it on my own server!

Nevermind, I could tell you to signup for a free blog somewhere else, but this one is the best…so….1 option or search google!

This is my version of “Wanted Dead or Alive” based off Chris Daughtry’s version, but recorded by Bon Jovi. It was recorded with a 12 string, my Ovation, my Fender Stratocaster, my horrible mic, iDrum and keyboard drumming in Logic Express. Wow….

Working On New Family Tree

I am working on a new software package that is specifically created to make online family trees. It should be much better than we have already. It will have a new location and everyone will have the ability to add what they want to it when it is created. I will give an example of my own family and then you can all take it from there.

I will play around with it and then post the password required to view it and more directions on how to add things for your own family once I know more!

Member Invitations

I was playing around with my software package tonight and decided to alter my package to have invitations that each member can give out, so I have started you all off with 1 each to give out to other family and friends that may enjoy this site. Obviously, we want friends and family of Trent and Tammy because we would like people that we know use this site! If you have someone in mind that you think might use this site, just click on the ‘invite a friend’ link in your profile. It will say how many you have in brackets.
