Changed Up Theme

I have went through a did a little tweaking of the blog, gallery and forum. They were all pretty close to the same design before, but I made sure they are all using the same background and fonts and changed the image at the top to something that is dear to me, a Canadian Maple Leaf! That image is from another Wordpress theme in http://themes.wordpress.net and I am grateful to use it! I could not find the author of that theme and give credit, so I am doing it here!
Fall has been here for awhile now and winter is just starting. It is well below 0 degrees C and it snowed last night! I should have used the parkbench photo I found under all the snow and ice because that is what it seems like outside now!
I updated the look of Tammys teaching site as well at http://www.tammyadams.com if you want to take a look! She still has not seen it, so it might change rapid!

Joined The YouTube Revolution

For those of you that haven’t yet moved over to http://www.youtube.com and watched some free videos from people all over the world, you are missing out. It has videos in every single category that you can think! I personally use the site to view music more than anything else because there not only is talent, but humor!
The internet is increasing in size each and every single day and people that have websites are competing for the advertising dollar. It isn’t just getting a popular site and you get paid. In fact, YouTube.com had 12 million dollars USD in venture capital to get their dream site up and going and quickly became one of the most popular sites on the internet. Still, with all that traffic, they were not getting paid off.
Nothing has changed. The site is still not profitable. Until today….they are laughing all the way to the bank now that Google just bought the site for $1.65 Billion USD for the site! That is incredible!
I have been watching YouTube.com for quite awhile, but haven’t been posting videos in any of my webspace. That changed today! Today is the day that I start posting more videos into the gallery that are favorite music videos or interesting music sites!

Some Things Members Can Do Here

This is quite a fun little community here! We have it setup so that all members can actually blog to the public using this blog that I am writing here on now! If there is something interesting that you would like the world to know or discuss, you can always post something on this blog!
For those of you that are more private and would rather have things said in private and only viewable by other members of this small community, you can post things in the forum. Once registered, you are able to see all the private posts and make new topics only for members! This allows us all to stay in touch without having to worry about making private comments public!
Another thing that is private is our gallery. It has over 1,400 photos, songs and videos now and seems to be the most popular thing for members. It is used primarily for my photos that I upload, but I have it so that other members can upload photos of their own if they want. Once you decided to upload photos, you can drop me a line through the forum or drop me an email. That way, I can setup a directory for your photos in the gallery so everyone knows they are your photos! All photos uploaded should be a maximum of 600 pixels wide and can be edited to this width with most programs! Got to save the server space!
The family tree is actually better now that I have actual geneology software! There is a post in the forum that has the username and password to view the family tree because currently it is private as well and cannot be viewed by the general public! It can be found under family annoucements in the forum. It has over 160 people in it now and growing! You can place contact information, photos, special events and many other things under your own name and others!
Each of these applications use the same username and password that you can change around at any time! There are also several “help” topics that can be viewed to understand how to do anything you want! That or contact me and I can help!
There are also many other sites that I run and operate under this domain and others as well. For example, Maguire, my son, has his own website and recently picked up his own domain. The forum has 2 posts that have all the information to view all entries on his site because the private entries on his site are password protected! Check it out!
Other sites are also Tammys teaching website, Adams Ranch Ltd.s website and the gym site that we had for our gym in Hughenden which is currently being used by the gym in Marwayne and my mother in Killam. Other sites are also being added so keep up with the list!
