SamBauers has created a new plugin that he has allowed me to test out prior to it’s major release here soon! I can’t say what it is yet, but it is a plugin that will revolutionize the way you handle something important to every user of bbPress!
Little taste can be found here!

iPhone Blues

Come on! When asked about the iPhone coming to Canada through Roger’s, Bill Linton, Rogers’ chief financial officer, told a conference last month:
“The truth is we aren’t very far with Apple,”
Globe and Mail had on article on the ‘non-emergence’ of the iPhone in Canada a couple weeks ago and it still pisses me off. I don’t think that it is fair to say that our market is too small. Right now, the big carriers carry 100’s of stupid cell phones and adding one more shouldn’t be a problem. Don’t want to carry them, then let us order them through apple US directly!
Really, programming a phone for any particular network is really simple that even a monkey can do it. Our networks are the same frequencies, so why wouldn’t it work on our networks? Last, but not least, why tell us that only people that only ‘early adapters’ and ‘fashion freaks’ will buy the phone because we all know that the Blackberry’s, Palm TREO’s and Motorola Q’s of the world are really popular with business people and phone junkies alike.
Is the deal that our companies just don’t want to carry it? Apple has standard pricing on all their computers across the country, so really price shouldn’t be an issue. Does Apple have a grand plan for the rest of the world later? Is this just a shun for Canada while they build brand loyalty? I am not sure anymore and the facts really are not clear.
Some say that I am obsessive about it. Yeah, I would agree. That is why the next trip done south will get me one anyways with AT & T regardless of what it costs. Some things in this world are not about money. This one is just obsessive principle. Don’t try and confuse me with the facts, as my mind is made up! ![]()
The World I Know

I have always loved the music from the 90’s because that is when I was growing up and listening to incredible music on a daily basis. I went to shows often and really couldn’t drag myself away from a radio or CD player. Not much has changed, but the format is different and the shows are further and further apart. None the same, on Sirius yesterday, I heard Collective Soul do an acoustic version of “The World I Know” and it brought back so much history for me. That is why I decided to record it myself.

Cancer Donation Request

Hi Friends,
On July 27-29, 2007 I’ll be participating in a very special event called The Weekend to End Breast Cancer.
I’ll walk 60 kilometres over the course of one weekend with thousands of other women and men. The net proceeds will support breast cancer research, treatment, and services through the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
I’ve agreed to raise at least $2,000. So I need your help. Would you please consider making a donation? Use the link at the bottom of this email, and go visit my site - and please take the time to support me. Please keep in mind how far I’m walking - and how hard I’ll have to train.
According to the National Cancer Institute of Canada, approximately 20,500 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and about 5,400 will die from the disease. That’s why I’m walking so far. To do something bold about breast cancer. I hope that you’ll share this incredible adventure with me - by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Sincerely,
Tammy
